Do you provide installation?

Each and every one of our products can be installed by one of our professional installation members. If we do not have a qualified dealer in your area, we will attempt to support to in locating a local installer that can help you to install. We take pride in the fact that We install everything we sell! If we do not have a factory representative, we will go out of our way to help you.   

What areas do you serve?

Currently, we serve most of the Western US. You can identify your local dealer on our Dealer Locator area on this site. We are RAPIDLY expanding so, if you don't see a dealer today, that doesn't mean there won't be one tomorrow. Don't forget, we can also help locate someone to assist you in your local area. We are currently operating in the lower 48. Those of you in Canada, may see us soon also.

How much weight can each overhead storage system unit hold?

Each of our products has a posted weight rating on the product and on our website. Each of the weight ratings are designed with safety in mind. If a unit states "750 LBS" ,that system is a 750. The 750 Pound or any weight class, is based upon "Evenly Distributing" your items across your storage system. You should never place the full weigh capacity in one area. Make sure to weigh your items.

All of our overhead storage products are designed with safety in mind. We will not allow anyone to exceed the weight limits posted on all products. These weight limits are there for your safety. We ask you to weigh all your items prior to loading, to ensure that you don't exceed the weight limits posted. We do not and will not warranty or make any claims to your homes construction. You need to check with your builder or a qualified engineer on the to determine your homes qualification.

Our overhead storage products have been tested to exceed the amount posted by an safety factor. This does not mean that your homes ceiling, truss, rafter or joists can with stand these weights.

What size storage unit do I need?

That will depend on the size of your garage and your overall storage needs. Locate one of our Superior Dealers or call us at 877-797-RACK (7225) for consultation and information about the installation process.

Where can overhead storage racks be placed in my garage?

This is a very common question.  You have four zones where you can place our overhead racks. Above the garage door is great. You can place two 4' x 8' racks. Don't be concerned about the height. We have low profile solutions for this area also. If you want a bigger drop from the ceiling, you can choose the center of the garage ceiling, the side walls or the back walls. You have 4 zones to choose from.

Most customers like our Overhead Storage Platforms. Our overhead storage racks can be combined into any size from 4' x 4' to 4' x 50'+ if available. We call this an Overhead Storage Platform. Our patent pending design, allows our individual units to be combined into any length in 2 foot sections. This means you can have a 4' x 16' platform, with a single wide open grid system. This is great for larger items and it looks outstanding. Overhead Storage Platforms are safer because they can diffuse weight across a larger area of your garage ceiling.

Do you carry any accessories for your storage units?

We sure do. We carry various hooks, shelves, bins and other attachments. We also have the only horizontal Bike Storage system that will store a bike below one of our 750LB overhead storage racks. Give us a call, or ask your installer for more information.

 

How do I safely get my storage items on my overhead storage system?

We have developed many different ways to place your storage items on your overhead ceilig storage systems. The safest, hands free system is our Motorized Lift System. This system is designed to raise your items to the side of your overhead storage platform, allowing you to climb your ladder "hands free" and transfer the items over to your racking system.

Another option is our X-Deck storage platform. This storage platform is the safest ladder / platform system on the market today. It is lightweight, portable and easy to use. You can place your items on the platform deck, climb the built in platform ladder and transfer your storage items to your overhead storage system.

Finally, you can utilize a safe ladder to load your storage items.
