The Overhead Wall Shelf is an exclusive design of The Garage Organization Company of Arizona. Our exclusive Overhead Wall Shelf (patent pending) is an Overhead Storage Rack that is also attached to your garage wall studs. The Overhead Wall Shelf is designed to utilize un-used garage ceiling storage space, allowing for additional weight and volume capacity compared to other overhead storage products. This wall mounted overhead garage rack is a variation of our standard rack, but can safely hold up to 1,000lbs and can be mounted to a combination of ceiling and walls. This is an amazing new product that is not available anywhere else and is unmatched in versatility and strength.

An overhead garage rack that can safely support half a ton is unheard of in this industry and we are proud to be able to offer it to our customers.

Many of our customers and competitors have asked us how we are able to have such high weight limits and still meet safety requirements. We have been able to achieve this by simple physics and weight diffusion. The standard overhead rack mounts to ceiling joists and pulls down on the full length of the support. Our wall mounted garage racks use thick lag screws driven into wall struts to support and diffuse much of the weight. Our mounting method is much stronger than standard ceiling mount methods and allows this solid steel innovation to safely and securely exceed the weight limits of every other overhead garage rack on the market.

Part of the testing process here at The Garage Organization Company of Arizona is a strenuous stress test that involves placing thousands of pounds of weight on our overhead garage racks and simulating an earthquake. All of our overhead racks go through these tests, but our wall mounted garage racks have eclipsed even our expectations. Please note that, even though we have tested these racks with thousands of pounds, the weight limits are there for your safety and should not be exceeded.

We do not currently offer our wall mounted overhead garage rack in our online store because it requires professional installation, so if you are interested in it please give us a call and we can give you more information and arrange for someone to install it for you.
